[Introducing the graciousness of the Holy Ghost]
Titus 2:1 talks about the grace of God that brings salvation appearing to all. In this dispensation, the agency of that grace from the Father, through the Son is the Holy Ghost.
That grace comes loaded with salvation. With it is attached pardon, mercy and restoration, all made available through Christ who dwells in us by the Holy Ghost.
Herein is the revelation of the wonderful qualities of the Holy Ghost in the discharge of His duties, and what we need to do to access His ministry, especially when we fall.
In the first edition, we saw that you have to admit your flaws and believe in the judgment of the Spirit on this issue. We also saw that you have to be patient. Here is yet another important key to access grace and mercy the Holy Ghost supplies.
Pray
Prayer, though it is one of the hardest things to do, is your plug to the bounties of God (which is in the Spirit). The things of the Spirit, though abundant in supply, always have to be sought after because they are not in a common place, but always in the Spirit. Prayer is one way of seeking and pressing in for them. Prayer summons your spirit and soul before God who is the eternal Spirit.
In the attempt to appear before the Lord, the blood and the fire of His presence will not spare your filth. They will contend with them and blot them out.
Sin breaks our fellowship with God, but when you fall because of sin, seek God's presence. Yes, it may sound odd, but that is the reality. Pray. Just pray. Should a faulty car avoid a maintenance workshop? No! Ignore the threatening weight of your transgression, come as you are.
The experience may not be the same for everyone, but when you pray in supplication, the Holy Ghost will remove every weight and guilt and sin, and shame from your soul.
You will experience freshness. You will be restored. Then you know you have obtained mercy. A faulty car should not avoid a maintenance workshop. It should rather be hurried there. Sin makes us faulty. Sin causes breakdown in our stability and hinders productivity.
Don't drag on in error. It will wear you out! The devil is aware of this. Your manufacturer developed a maintenance facility called 'Grace'. Find your way to this facility, even if you'll have to drag yourself to this place, do so.
This grace is Christ and your entry route is prayer. No vehicle leaves His workshop unrepaired. He fixes every damage and grant full restoration. He even renews your oil afterwards, and you drive back home a new man! But you first have to go. Pray.
Prayer ignites the fire of the Holy Ghost. When that fire burns in you, sin cannot survive that atmosphere. The fire dries up every dross of iniquity. It is a mystery. These metaphors only try to explain the process, but it is the exclusive wisdom of God on how he restores us into fellowship and functionality.
Even while you pray, the signal of grace, mercy, and pardon will be communicated through the Holy Ghost. When you run away from prayers, then you clearly do not want the help of the Holy Ghost.
I pray the Holy Spirit grant you access to this revelation.
Remember, prayer is your plug to the bounties of God (which is in the Spirit).
Pray.
God bless you.
