"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ salute you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers that ye may stajr perfect and complete in all the will of God. Colossians 4:12
The devil wants everything that God wants. God wants more souls saved and bought into the Kingdom. The devil wants to retain the lost souls.
So whenever God's word is shared and souls are saved, the devil kicks into action to reclaim that soul. That's why prayers is required to keep that soul. That's why prayer is required to keep them away. Prayer draws the manifest presence into our lives.
Whether you have been saved for 10 years, less or more, the devil is still interested in your soul. A big Bible and nice church clothes won't put the devils away. Prayer will.
The place of prayer is a place it creation. The prayer place is a factory. There, you produce, in partnership with the Holy Ghost what you want to see. There, you raise a wall round your life. Salvation grants you access to Kingdom facilities; the word of God is one of them.
The word of God like building materials. Therein is sand, cement, water, gravel, iron, and so on. In the place of prayer, the Holy Ghost hands over to the instruments of God's word. With this, you raise your walls. An interesting possibility is that you can perform this ministry for someone.
This is what Epaphras did in the scripture above. He laboured fervently in the place of prayer that the church in Colossi may be established. The devil doesn't want this to happen. He wants you to fall. He wants you to give up on God.
This can happen when you stop praying. Remember The Parable of the Sower, prayer will drive away the birds who come to pick the word, Prayer will break and water the stony heart that refuses access and growth of the word.
Prayers will preserve God's word till the fruition manifestation.
Prayers will help dig your roots deeper into Christ. All that you accomplished through prayer, you can engage God to do same for another person.
Continue instant in prayers." Include prayers and Bible study in your daily schedule. Pray today.
