THE WITNESS OF THE HOLY GHOST

[Introducing the Holy Spirit as God's Witness]

"And God which knoweth the heart bore them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us." Acts 15:8

"And now, I go bound in the Spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there, save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city saying that bounds and affliction abide me." Acts 20:22,23

Wherefore the Holy Ghost also is a witness for us, for after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their heart, and in their minds will write them." Hebrew 10:15

A witness is a confirmation or testimony to a claim. The testifier is also a witness. Whenever God does something, the Holy Spirit has a duty to witness it; the word, activities and decisions of Heaven when necessary.

For example, (as seen in our first text,) God in His divine plan decided to open the door of Salvation to accommodate the Gentiles.

As a confirmation that God has received them, He gave them the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost manifested, according to the testimony of Peter to the council at Jerusalem to confirm that God had received the Gentiles.

Inner Witness

Today, the Holy Ghost dwells in us, He abides in us. In the Lord's prayer, Jesus said, 'Let it be on earth, as it is in Heaven.' Whenever you need clarity, a confirmation in your Spirit about something, then pray the Father to reveal.

Neither shall they say 'Lo here, or lol there, for the Kingdom of God is within you.' Luke 17:21

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep waters, a man of understanding draws it out. Proverbs 20:5

How will you know what is in Heaven, so as to demand same on earth? The word of God.

The Word of God and the witness of the Holy Ghost. It is amazing that whatever God speaks to you through people, He can witness for it in your Spirit.

If you have to receive the inner witness of the Holy Ghost, then you may have to wait until you get it.

The inner witness comes in different ways to different people. It will most likely come in the unique way God speaks to you. This is so crucial, because we live by faith and not by sight.

External Witness

The Holy Spirit can also witness God's will to you through people. God decided that Apostle Paul should appear before Caeser and share the Gospel.

Pains and affliction would be a part of the process. So, as premonition, the Holy Spirit kept repeating the witness in every city he made a stop over.

In Acts 21:11, the prophet Agabus also gave this witness by the Holy Ghost. He even said 'Thou saith the Holy Ghost...'

Stay Tuned

The Holy Ghost leads us from within. He speaks. He uses many navigation systems. If you will access His ministry in the Spirit, then you have to live and walk in the Spirit.

If you are always noisy and busy, you may not receive His signals. So listen. Stay tuned.

Create time. A quiet time for the word, and for the Holy Spirit. He needs to take you through a customized training on how to hear Him.

This requires you to be solemn and sober. You will enjoy Him witness the counsel of God to you. Listen.

UNITY AND TOGETHERNESS

🌱PARABLE OF THE SOWER (3) 🌱

[The stony ground] "And He taught them many things by parables and said unto them in his doctrine, 'Hearken, behold, there went out a sower to sow. And it came to pass that as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. I AM HE

Revealing the person of Jesus “ The woman said unto Him, ‘I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ. When He comes, he will teach us all things’. HOW CAN I?

This was the question Joseph asked himself when Potiphar's wife asked him to lay with her. " How can I do this wickedness and sin against my God?" For Joseph, having an affair with Potiphar's wife wasn't only going to displease Potiphar if found out, but it would affect his relationship with his God. How often have you called yourself to order?
