"For verily He took not on the form of angels, but He took Him the seed of Abraham.
Wherefore in all things, it behove him to be made like unto his brethren that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest on things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people, for in that he himself had suffered being tempted, He is able to succour then that are tempted." Hebrews 2:16
God manifesting in the physical body gave Him the experiential knowledge of the infirmities of man. This makes his ministry of intercession and comfort much more targeted and efficacious.
A counsellor who has been through a particular or similar trial is better pedestaled to offer counsel. He would be speaking from experience, and experience cannot be taught.
He Understands, He's Been There
The Bible records that Jesus was tempted in all things. There is no human shortcoming and limitations of the flesh that He does not know.
He was hungry, he was thirsty, he was accused, beaten, spat on, rejected, stripped naked, and finally killed.
Scripture reveals (in our text above) that this was the reason He came not as an angel or a spirit, but in human form, that he might have a first hand comprehension of what it means when someone down on earth cries out 'Father, help me!'
When someone does this, it reminds Him of His own case when; He cried out to the Father on the cross. He remembers the pain. This is what triggers his immediate response.
The experience he had make the pain and distress call of man more relatable to Him. The impact of this is that he is 'able to succor them that are tempted because he himself had suffered being tempted.'
He Knows Better!
You can keep on explaining your situation to Him (that will help your infant mind), but be reminded that He already knows, and even better.
He's not a total stranger to what you are saying. He can relate and He knows how well to intervene.
Your condition is not maiden, it is not new. It is not unprecedented. It is such that is common to man, and Jesus is a specialist in making a way of escape for you.
Why is this so? Because he was also at one time in human form, subjected to all human torture and troubles. Be encouraged. Be reminded that He knows better.
This will help you be at peace. Beyond knowing about your 'unique problems, he also understands, and it is not unique in the spirit.
The Bible calls it common.
Jesus will attend to it. God bless you!
