PACKAGING AND PERCEPTION (2)

Greetings esteemed people of God. It's a new day to shine⭐✨

Yesterday we kick started with Packaging versus Perception... Hmmm, this discourse is broad for each one of us to share our insight.

Bible Ref: 1Sam 16:7 "...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." 💖

In this journey of what we carry versus how people see us, let's be reminded that man sees the package, but God values the content. Let your outside reflect the truth of your inside.

Well, my case was *casing* when I did served in a military owned school. Perception diffuses with influence. I remember alighting from a tinted army car, dressing up in my dark green suit and giving instructions to learners to buy some items at a junction closed to my fruits vendor's place. Hmmm, that's where it begun.

Some expressions can't be captured in writing. Well, from that day onward, I was now addressed as an officer👮and the cost of my banana cum groundnut I do purchase almost every Friday after rehearsals from church nearly doubled. See as I com be overnight army man and my price come high.

The truth is people choose their perception and we choose our substance or packaging.

Don't judge a book by its cover they say, ok 👌, but don't print a good book with a bad cover.

Nota bene: Some people will judge a book by its cover, but let our treasure be in the pages to glory El-Roi.

UNITY AND TOGETHERNESS

The scriptural guide to a peaceful coexistence " I say to all of you, do not think of yourself more highly than you should. 🌱PARABLE OF THE SOWER (3) 🌱

[The stony ground] "And He taught them many things by parables and said unto them in his doctrine, 'Hearken, behold, there went out a sower to sow. And it came to pass that as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. NOT JUST A GOD, BUT A FATHER (1)

Such a lovely view! I remember watching a monkey dragging her baby with a crocodile who violently pulled the baby into the water. After a long struggle, the monkey won. She took the baby, but unfortunately, the baby died. However, the monkey was partly satisfied that she returned with her kid. She kept her down, cleaned the stains and blood from her skin and patted with her hands in a bid to revive the baby, but to no avail. For a long time, she sat there with the baby. I AM HE

Revealing the person of Jesus “ The woman said unto Him, ‘I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ. When He comes, he will teach us all things’. Jesus said unto her, ‘I that talk to thee, I am he’. ” (John 4:25 – 26) Are You Expecting a Saviour? At this time, the Jewish community had always expected a messiah, a sort of saviour who would save them from the grip of their tax masters. HOW COULD I?

This was the question Joseph asked himself when Potiphar's wife asked him to lay with her. " How can I do this wickedness and sin against my God?" For Joseph, having an affair with Potiphar's wife wasn't only going to displease Potiphar if found out, but it would affect his relationship with his God. How often have you called yourself to order? Where are your standards? Where are your deliberately upheld principles? What are your no no's? Your never never! For Joseph, prison was better than compromising. Laying with his master's wife was a NO NO! Daniel decided in his heart that he will not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank.
