Today, let's discuss expectations. 🙂
Expectation is the act of looking out for something from either someone.
Expectation for believers is the act of looking out for something from God.
Now the big question is "What are your Expectations"?
Pause a moment and think.
Does your expectations aline with the plan and purpose of God for your life?
Are your expectations Christ-like?
How do you even send this expectations to God?
Are you even looking out for what is yours?
Is God aware of your expectations?
The Bible says "make your request known to God, write them down".
It says "make them known to God" not man
As a Christian, who do you make your expectations known to?
The things which you look out for, what are those things and who knows about them first?
How do we make our expectations known to God?
1. Through Prayers: Prayers make ways for us, it's a medium were we communicate to God.
2. Deep Worship: There's this quote that says "Praises moves God but deep worship put God into action".
We can easily send our expectations to God through deep worship emphasis on the "deep" because they're some worship you make and it's not deep meaning it's not from your heart.
Now,how do you know if your expectations are in alinement with God's purpose for you?
1. Passion: You will know it once you start developing passion for that expectation and making plans for it already even without knowing
2. Once you see God commence work on it immediately just know it is in His plans because God knew it even before you expected. He was probably waiting for you to express expectation.
3. The people He sends into your life. God send people into our lives to solves different problems 🤔. So for every expectation He will send in someone, it's left for you to identify.
Be careful of your expectations
Make them known to God first..
Pray about it.
Send it to God in the right way.
Expect! Pray!! And Rest In The Lord!!!
