Proverbs 20:4
The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.
Hello, friend! This is a follow up from BEAUTY TO ASHES.
I want to strike some balance. ✌️
The promise that ALL THINGS work together for good for those who love the Lord does not mean we should be careless with our lives and endeavours WITH THE HOPE that God's going to unarguably RIGHT OUR WRONGS.
Men and women, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows also shall shall he reap.
Proverbs 20:4 says that that the sluggard will say "it is cold" so he folds his hands and hope that his laziness will work together for his good.
You might be about to get the shocker of your life. You will beg... Not you, though... I know you're hardworking.. 😁 But whoever is this SLUGGARD.
Yes, the fellow who has taken God's promise to mean that even in his/her outright adamant negligence of the principles of productivity and growth, that God will ignore and convert the ashes of his counterproductive habits to work together for good.
Hmm... No no.. not so.
Also,
Do not be rude to people, cheat on your company or organisation, hurt people, frame up someone else into trouble (for your benefit) and hope that God will ignore all that.
Do not lie and pray manipulative prayers, those kinds of prayers that try to bend the hand of God to punish someone else for a wrong you spotted as their judge...
😀😀
That's a bit out of context, though. But maybe someone needs to hear it.
As much as ALL THINGS work together for good, you have to consider other scriptural truths that provide disclaimer and balance.
Kathryn Kulman said "Any truth that is exaggerated to the omission of other truths is error."
So, do not allow things to go bad, hoping that your intentional violations will work together for your good.
May grace abound onto you.
God bless you. 🙏
